I’m a journalist, currently working on ABC News’ Washington desk.

Most recently I was a temporary, community-funded reporter at the Biloxi Sun Herald, hired to cover COVID-19 and vaccination efforts on the Gulf Coast during a time when Mississippi is acting as the delta variant’s playground.

Before that, I was an investigative political reporter with Iowa Starting Line, a Des Moines-based independent news outlet.

While I graduated from the University of Minnesota in May 2019, my time in Iowa was like a national journalism boot camp. I navigated a crowded and unrelenting race for the 2020 Democratic Presidential nomination ahead of the Iowa caucus.
